Faculty Classifications are attributes about faculty members. Examples would include part time, full time, adjunct, rank, tenure status, etc. Faculty Classifications are often used for sorting and filtering faculty members in reports.
To create a faculty classification, click Create New from the Customization > Faculty Classification screen. Admin users will be able to name the faculty classification and determine which academic units the faculty classification applies to.
A Faculty Classification is a single field. Admin users will be able to determine what type of field is appropriate within the form builder and any corresponding properties.
After publishing the Faculty Classification, Admin users will be able to assign faculty classification values on behalf of faculty members. See the Help section titled 'Utilize Faculty Classification Forms'.
Admin and reporting users will be able to filter faculty members by faculty classifications in reporting, user management, or faculty classification forms.
