Add Activity Classifications to Forms

Modified on Tue, Jun 3 at 4:28 PM

Activity Classifications are custom fields that can be added to Activity Input Forms and are filterable within reports. An Activity Classification is a single field that can be created from any of the standard form elements (number, checkbox, text, dropdown, etc.). During the creation of an Activity Classification, an Academic Unit must be selected to determine which faculty members have access to the Activity Classification. Tags are used for sorting purposes only within the list view.

From the Home page, click on the tab Customization and then click on Activity Classifications on the left side menu.

Once in the Activity Classifications, to add a new activity to an activity classification form, choose the middle section for Published Activity Classifications and choose the classification you would like to add.

A published Activity Classification can be added to an Activity Input Form by selecting Manage Forms from the Action menu. Select Quick View from the Action menu to view a preview or select Archive to remove the Activity Classification from all forms.

Standard Activity Classifications are tagged with AcA and are used on standard forms within the Activity Manager. They can be added to additional custom forms as well. These standard Activity Classifications cannot be edited as they are in a published state.

Refer to How to Add and Activity Classification or the For Administrators section for additional support.
